  • Drop off zone is the David Mack Student Center, please specify Student Center as many buildings are named Mack.

  • Parking is readily available in the Student Center perimeter and is complimentary, no permit required.

  • Google Maps has the Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center listed for navigation

If necessary, use this address:

Once you have arrived in the Student Center, look for our NMEA registration tables or go to Hofstra’s Hospitality desk located in Student Center 112 (Event Management Office).

By Plane

Long Island Airports include John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and MacArthur Airport. Newark, NJ is quite far and JFK offers a rail connection. It is possible to go from JFK to Hofstra by Train and shuttle bus (or taxi). Generally, taxis from the airports are costly; best option would be to pool a taxi ride if people arrive on the same flight. Arrangements in advance are suggested at your choosing. Try:

  • All Island Transportation. Use the HEMPSTEAD – 516-481-1111 or GARDEN CITY – 516-746-2500 offices. All Island Transportation accepts cash and major credit cards.

  • Ollie’s Taxi & Airport Service. Use the South Shore office 516-437-0505. Ollie's Taxi and Airport Service accepts cash and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express).
